According to the TCVN 13256:2021, out door unit of VRV and VRF Air Conditioners using 3-phases electric power source are fallen under its scope.
VRF: Variable Refrigerant Flow (Air Conditioner)
VRV: Variable Refrigerant Volume (Daikin Air Conditioner)
So what is VRF, VRV air conditioner?
VRF air conditioner, VRV also known as Central Air Conditioning System, is a system consisting of one or more central machines that combine to form an overall system that distributes cold to all areas in the building. The central air conditioning system uses water as the cooling agent through the pipeline system to bring water to the heat exchangers to cool the air. This air conditioning technology is called Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), or Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) specific to Daikin's air conditioners.
