Pursuant to Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT telecom, wireless, radio devices, and ITE subjected to mandatory Product Quality Inspection Registration, Type Approval certification (Certificate of Conformity), Declaration of Conformity, and putting on MIC's conformity marking (ICT mark) before selling to end-users or third parties.
1. Base regulations on ICT mark
Circular 04/2023/TT-BTTTT List of products and goods subjected to mandatory MIC Type Approval certification and Declaration of Conformity.
→ Product listed under Appendix 1 of the MIC Circular 02/2022/TT-BTTTT shall need both MIC Type Approval certification and Declaration of Conformity and use ICT Mark with "CODE"
→ Product listed under Appendix 2 of the MIC Circular 02/2022/TT-BTTTT shall need Declaration of Conformity process only and use ICT Mark without "CODE"
Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT Regulates procedures and methods for MIC Type Approval certification, Declaration of Conformity, and ICT Marking (Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT must be read in conjunction with its amendment and supplement versions which are Circular 10/2020/TT-BTTT and Circular 15/2018/TT-BTTTT)

2. Mark of Conformity of MIC Vietnam for Radio, Telecom, SRDs devices (ICT Mark)
(Applicable for product subjected to both mandatory Type approval certification and Declaration of Conformity certification)
2.1 Shape of ICT Mark (with "CODE"):

2.2 Contents of ICT Mark:
- ICT: Abbreviated name in English of Information and Communications Technology.
- CODE: Management code given by the Vietnam Telecommunications Authority (VNTA).
- NAME: The management information registered to VNTA by organization and individual
Remarks:
→ CODE is not Type Approval certificate number. One applicant has only one CODE
→ Applicant need to apply for CODE from VNTA for the first time they apply for DOC
→ NAME can be anything in words. Usually it can be importer name, brand name, importer short name
