EXTENDMAX – On January 16, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications announced the draft circular promulgated together with QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT National technical regulation on E-UTRA base station - Radio access. The draft QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT is compiled based on ETSI EN 301 908-1 V15.1.1. It is expected that QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT shall take effect from March 1, 2024 and be compulsory for import procedures, quality inspection, certification of conformity, and declaration of conformity from 01 July 2024 for 4G/LTE base station.

Pursuant to QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT, 4G LTE products sold to Vietnam market must be able to work in all or a part of frequency bands listed in table 1:

New points of QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT
Compared to QCVN 110:2017/BTTTT (current version), QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT has the following basic new points.
1) Adding additional LTE bands which has been planned since 2020 and 2021 include bands B28 and B41.
2) B5 and B38 has been removed.
Taking effect date of the QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT
Based on the draft circular promulgating regulations, it is expected that QCVN 110:2023/BTTTT will take effect from March 1, 2024 and be mandatory from July 1, 2024.
