EXTENDMAX - Pursuant to the provisions of Circular No. 10/2020/TT-BTTTT which has taken effect from July 1, 2020, the conformity certification organization (which is eligible to certify conformity of radio and telecommunication products) must be certification organizations designated by the Ministry of Information and Communications. On July 15, 2020, the Ministry of Information and Communications has designated Testing and Certification Center 1 (of Vietnam Telecommunications Authority - VNTA) as a the first ICT Certification Body as prescribed in Circular 10/2020/TT-BTTTT. This is also the first conformity certification organization designated by the Ministry of Information and Communications to carry out conformity certification activities for goods and products of Group 2 managed by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Enterprices in Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, other provinces) and oversea enterprices / organization now can submit conformity certification to the Verification and Certification Center 1 (of VNTA). However, the Verification and Certification Center 2 in HCMC and Verification and Certification Center 3 in Da Nang City shall be designated by the Vietnam MIC soon in next few weeks.
