EXTENDMAX - During 2018, MIC Vietnam has introduced several new technical regulations (QCVN standards) by individual Circulars which all entering in effect since 01 July 2019. So which QCVN standard will actually be implemented since 01 July 2019?
New national technical regulations (QCVN standards) shall be implemented for MIC Type Approval certification and Declaration of Conformity since 01 July 2019:
Pursuant to item 2 of Article 4 - Management Principles of Circular 04/2018/TT-BTTTT: "In case national technical standards applied for products and goods in List of products and goods in group 2 to be newly issued to amend, or replac, or renew an existing standard national technical standards, the new standard shall automatically take effect in accordance with according document issued by MIC".
In each new QCVN standard, there is an article for implementation. For example, below is implementation article of QCVN 118:2018/BTTTT
Translation of item 6.2 or Article 6 of QCVN 118:2018/BTTTT (page 28): This national technical regulation is applicable to replace TCVN 7189:2009, TCVN 7600:2010 national standards in Type Approval certification and Declaration of Conformity under MIC management scope.
Then below national technical regulations (QCVN standards) shall automatically enter in effect and implemented for Type Approval certification and / or Declaration of Conformity:
(1) QCVN 118:2018/BTTTT (replace TCVN 7189:2009 and TCVN 7600:2010)
(2) QCVN 66:2018/BTTTT (replace QCVN 66:2013/BTTTT)
(3) QCVN 16:2018/BTTTT (replace QCVN 16:2010/BTTTT)
(4) QCVN 37:2018/BTTTT (replace QCVN 37:2011/BTTTT)
(5) QCVN 44:2018/BTTTT (replace QCVN 44:2011/BTTTT)
(6) QCVN 57:2018/BTTTT (replace QCVN 57:2011/BTTTT)
