"Vietnam is going to end 2G service soon" said the MIC Minister Nguyen Manh Hung in Industry 4.0 Summit 2019 and international expo held in Hanoi on October 03, 2019. At this moment MIC is researching roadmap to end 2G service and it could be started from 2022. When 2G services is officially end, products may not need to be certified according to national technial standard which is applicable for 2G (GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, EDGE...).
