EXTENDMAX - On 05 May 2018, Authority of Radio Frequency Management (ARFM) has celebrated grand opening ceremony for the first 10m EMC chamber in HCMC. This is the first 10 EMC chamber of a state-owned organization and also be the second 10m EMC chamber in Vietnam. Together with 3m EMC chamber in Hanoi which is under Technical Center of ARFM (Vilas 060), now Technical Center can provide various kind of EMC testing services including EMC requirements for Radio and ITE products, and EMC requirements for home appliance.
This testing laboratory has met Vietnam's standard requirements for electromagnetic compatibility, met most of the domestic testing requirements, and served well for conformity as well as monitoring after certification and conformity announcement. regulation. EMC test chambers typically use measuring distances of 3 meters, 5 meters and 10 meters. However, when there is a complaint about the test results, the measured value of the 10 meter range takes precedence. In particular, there are some countries that only accept the measurement results of this distance.
