- QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT: National technical regulation on multi-technology NR and E-UTRA mobile communication base station equipment - Radio access part.
- QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT: National technical regulation on the specific absorption rate (SAR) for handheld and body-worn radio equipment.
- QCVN 135:2024/BTTTT: National technical regulation on Internet protocol-based surveillance camera equipment - Basic information security requirements.
The issuance of these regulations aims to address the needs for management, standardization, and ensuring the safety and quality of information and communication technology (ICT) devices amidst rapid technological advancements.
Main Content and Implementation Roadmap
QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT
This regulation applies to multi-technology 4G and 5G mobile communication base station equipment - Radio access part (also known as the emission part).
According to Circular No. 20/2024/TT-BTTTT, the implementation timeline for QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT is as follows:
- Voluntary application for testing, conformity certification, and conformity announcement starting February 15, 2025.
- Mandatory application of QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT for 4G and 5G mobile communication base station equipment starting July 1, 2025.

QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT
This regulation specifies technical standards for the specific absorption rate (SAR) applicable to handheld and body-worn radio devices, including mobile phones, DECT phones (handsets), tablets, and laptops.
According to Circular No. 19/2024/TT-BTTTT, the implementation timeline for QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT is as follows:
- Voluntary application for testing, conformity certification, and conformity announcement starting February 15, 2025.
- Mandatory application of QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT for mobile phones starting July 1, 2026.
- Mandatory application of QCVN 134:2024/BTTTT for other products starting July 1, 2027.
