To be in compliance with Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP of Vietnam Government, on 31 - May - 2018 MIC Vietnam has issue Decision No. 823/QD-BTTTT to terminate Circular 18/2014/TT-BTTTT - Regulation on import permit of Radio devices. It means MIC import permit for radio device has been terminated. In the near future, MIC shall release official Circular supplement and amendment to Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT soon to change the import control method for both radio products and ITE. Pursuant to the draft version of Circular 30/2011/TT-BTTTT, Type Approval certificate and Declaration of Conformity certificate will be required for customs clearance.
The MIC decistion No. 823/QD-BTTTT take effect immediately from the issue date of 31 May 2018. The declared reason is "In Section V, Appendix III of Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management (annulling Decree No. 187/2013/ND-CP dated November 20, 2013 of the Government for the grant of licenses to import radio transmitters, receivers and transmitters) does not specify this list of goods."
