MOIT Vietnam: Circular 36/2016/TT-BCT - Regulations on Energy Efficiency (VNEEP) DoC and Energy Labels
Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) Vietnam has released Circular 36/2016/TT-BCT dated December 28, 2016 to regulate procedures and required documents for Declaration of Conformity according to Vietnam National Energy Efficiency Program (VNEEP). Pursuant to the Circular 36/2016/TT-BCT of MOIT Vietnam required documents for Energy Efficiency DoC is fewer, and would be easier to be proceeded. Required documents are the follows:
1. Vietnam Energy Efficiency Declaration of Conformity form
2. Energy Efficiency test reports
3. Certificates and Accreditation Letter of Test lab if test reports are issued by oversea labs.
4. Expected Energy Labels
In comparison to Circular 07/2012/TT-BCT the following requirements shall be removed:
- Commercial contract / purchase order requirement has been removed.
- Customs declaration form requirement has been removed.
- Trade mark registered license requirement has been removed.
- Document related to quality management systems requirement has been removed.
- Certificate of Quality requirement has been removed.
The Circular 36/2016/TT-BCT of MOIT Vietnam shall take effect from Feb 02, 2017 and replace Circular 07/2012/TT-BCT of MOIT Vietnam
